FIND A MIAMI DMV LOCATION

MAKE A MIAMI DMV APPOINTMENT TO SAVE TIME
Whether you need to take a written test, a road test, or you need to reinstate your license after a suspension, we advise you to make an appointment. While the DMV website doesn’t exactly make scheduling your appointment easy, you can do it from the convenience of your cellphone or computer and it can drastically reduce the amount of time you’ll have to wait in line at the DMV. Many individuals unwisely try to get to the DMV office early to avoid the rush only to find themselves waiting in line behind those who scheduled early appointments before work. Make the smart choice: schedule an appointment.
ADDITIONAL TIPS FOR THE DMV
- Make sure that the service requires a visit – In most cases, you can renew your valid driver’s license, update the address on your license, and get a replacement for a lost or stolen license without going to a DMV location in Miami.
- Bring the required ID – For citizens, you will need one of the following documents: U.S. birth certificate, a U.S. passport, a consular report of birth abroad, a certificate of naturalization, or a certificate of citizenship. In addition, you will need a Social Security card, or other proof of your social security number, and two different proofs of residential address. For a comprehensive list of acceptable forms of identification, see the FLSHMV website.
- Arrive at least fifteen minutes early for your appointment.
