Laura Ramos James is the Founder and Sole Owner of Ramos James Law, PLLC, which she established in 2018. With more than a decade of legal experience, she represents individuals in complex personal injury cases involving auto and trucking accidents, drunk driving, distracted driving, commercial vehicles, workplace injuries, product liability, healthcare liability claims, sexual assault, construction accidents and defects, catastrophic injuries, and wrongful death.
A personal injury victim herself, Laura was inspired to become a strong voice for people who could not advocate for themselves. After graduating with honors from Baylor Law, she built a legal career focused on fighting for injured individuals and supporting disadvantaged communities throughout Austin and South Texas.
Laura has received numerous professional honors, including being named a 2025 “Changemaker” by Austin Woman Magazine and receiving the 2023 “Woman’s Way” Award and the Latina Foundation’s “Advocacy and Activism” Award.
