Douglas A. Petho is the owner and managing attorney of Price, Petho & Associates and a highly experienced Charlotte personal injury lawyer. A Charlotte native, he earned his Bachelor of Science in Administration of Criminal Justice from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1988 and his Juris Doctor from the same institution in 1991.
He began his legal career as an Assistant District Attorney for North Carolina’s 1st Judicial District, prosecuting misdemeanor and felony cases across a seven-county region. This early trial experience provided a strong foundation for his litigation career.
He joined Price, Petho & Associates in 1993 and has since focused on representing plaintiffs in personal injury cases. He has tried hundreds of cases to jury verdict involving automobile accidents, trucking accidents, premises liability, and other serious injury claims. His extensive courtroom experience reflects his commitment to achieving favorable outcomes for injured clients.
