Patrick S. Preller brings over 20 years of litigation experience in both federal and state courts across Maryland. Recognized as one of Maryland’s top trial lawyers, he has an outstanding track record of success in personal injury, medical malpractice, employment discrimination, and criminal defense.
Graduating with honors from the University of Baltimore School of Law in 1998, Mr. Preller served as an associate editor for the Law Review. He then clerked for the Honorable Maurice W. Baldwin in the Circuit Court for Harford County, Maryland. After his clerkship, Mr. Preller worked as an assistant state’s attorney in Baltimore City, prosecuting thousands of cases, including felony narcotics and juvenile cases.
Since transitioning to private practice in 2004, Mr. Preller has never lost a criminal jury trial. He also teaches Fourth Amendment and criminal procedure as an adjunct professor at the University of Baltimore.
