Biography Overview
David A. Muncy joined Plaxen Adler Muncy, P.A. after graduating from law school in 2012 and became a partner in 2017. Throughout law school, David worked for both plaintiffs’ personal injury firms and an insurance defense firm. After experiencing both sides, he committed himself to fighting for injured people rather than defending insurance companies.
David earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland College Park in 2009 and graduated magna cum laude from the University of Baltimore School of Law in 2012. He was inducted into the Heuisler Honor Society, awarded to the top 10% of his class. In 2018, David was elected Parliamentarian of the Maryland Association for Justice (MAJ), becoming the youngest attorney to hold such a position. He was later elected President of MAJ in 2023.
David focuses on personal injury, workers’ compensation, and Social Security Disability cases, having tried hundreds of cases across various Maryland courts and agencies. He has earned recognition on the Maryland Super Lawyers list, Super Lawyers Rising Stars (2017-2023), and was honored with the MAJ Outstanding Service Award in 2019.
Outside of work, David is actively involved in Rotary and volunteers with Wills for Heroes.
