Philip Berlinsky is the founding attorney of Philip Berlinsky Law and a lifelong resident of Charleston, South Carolina. He has practiced law in the state since 1989, dedicating his career to representing individuals injured due to negligence. Known for his personalized approach to legal representation, Philip works closely with clients to understand the details of their injuries and provide the guidance and support needed during difficult times.
Philip graduated from Bishop England High School in 1981 and later earned a Bachelor of Science from The Citadel in 1986. While at The Citadel, he received the Commandant’s Distinguished Service Award, served in leadership roles including India Company Commander, and was active in the Inn of Court Pre-Law Society. During this time, he had the opportunity to escort U.S. Attorney General Griffin Bell, whose encouragement inspired him to pursue a legal career.
He subsequently attended Mercer University School of Law, where he served as Vice Master of the Phi Delta Phi Legal Fraternity, one of the nation’s oldest legal organizations. After graduation, he was admitted to the South Carolina Bar and is also licensed to practice in the United States District Court for South Carolina.
Outside of his legal practice, Philip enjoys spending time with his wife and three sons and maintaining an active lifestyle in the Lowcountry.
