Matt McGill is a founding partner of Lowder & McGill PLLC and a dedicated trial attorney based in Bowling Green, Kentucky. He was raised in Bowling Green and attended Miami University on a partial athletic scholarship, where his interest in law was sparked by a business law course. He later earned a degree in Accounting with a minor in Political Science, then attended the University of Kentucky College of Law. During law school, he gained hands-on experience through the Legal Clinic, representing clients in pro bono civil litigation matters.
After obtaining his law degree in 2005, he returned to Bowling Green and practiced at a respected local firm for eight years. During that time, he handled a broad range of cases, including commercial litigation, insurance defense, and personal injury claims. He ultimately focused his practice on representing individuals harmed through no fault of their own.
In 2013, he co-founded Lowder & McGill PLLC with Brian Lowder, establishing the firm on the principles of aggressive, client-focused representation. He remains committed to achieving justice through settlement or trial.
He is also active in community service, including serving as a CASA of South Central Kentucky board member.
