Lance D. Youd is the founder and owner of Youd Law and has dedicated more than 30 years to representing injury victims and families throughout Oregon. Since beginning his legal career in 1993, he has focused on helping clients navigate the complexities of personal injury claims while pursuing fair compensation and justice. Lance understands that every case requires a strategic, individualized approach, and he believes that skilled legal representation is essential to achieving the best possible outcome after serious accidents and injuries.
Lance earned his bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University before obtaining his Juris Doctor from the University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law in 1993. Shortly afterward, he became a member of both the Utah and Oregon Bar Associations. Over the years, Lance has become one of Salem’s respected personal injury attorneys and spent five years teaching future attorneys at Willamette University Law School.
Originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, Lance relocated to Salem because of Oregon’s natural beauty and outdoor lifestyle. Outside the office, he enjoys skiing, surfing, paddleboarding, baking, and spending time with his wife, five children, and friends throughout Oregon.
