Biography Overview
Michael A. Steidl is a founding partner of Kentucky Injury Law Center and serves as the lead attorney for the firm’s workers’ compensation practice. Since 2015, he has focused on representing injured workers across Kentucky, advocating for those who have suffered serious, work-related injuries.
He is guided by a strong belief in accountability, fairness, and discipline—values shaped and reinforced during his service as a commissioned officer in the U.S. Army. During two deployments in Operation Iraqi Freedom, he demonstrated exceptional leadership and was awarded the Bronze Star for his service in a combat environment.
He applies that same discipline and commitment to his legal practice, holding employers and insurance companies accountable when workers are harmed. He concentrates on representing individuals who have sustained permanent injuries, dedicating the time and effort necessary to help them recover compensation and, when possible, return to work. He is fully prepared to take cases through litigation to achieve just outcomes.
He graduated with honors from the University of Tennessee College of Law and is licensed to practice in all Kentucky state courts. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time outdoors with his family and playing sports such as basketball and softball.
