Cara Wells Stigger is a founding partner and managing attorney at Kaufman & Stigger, PLLC. She was raised on a farm in Spencer County, Kentucky, and graduated from Spencer County High School in 1982. She attended Eastern Kentucky University on a Presidential Scholarship, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Paralegal Science with a minor in Business, graduating cum laude in 1986.
She received her Juris Doctor from the University of Louisville School of Law in 1989 and is licensed to practice in both Kentucky and Indiana. She began her legal career in Indiana, practicing general law before focusing on personal injury litigation in 1998. Since that time, she has dedicated her practice exclusively to representing clients injured in automobile accidents, motorcycle accidents, medical negligence cases, and other personal injury matters.
Ms. Stigger is an active member of the Kentucky Bar Association, Kentucky Justice Association, Indiana Bar Association, and Indiana Trial Lawyers Association. She is committed to advocating for injury victims and helping them pursue fair compensation for their losses.
