Raised on a small farm in Blount County, Alabama, Ms. Helms developed a strong appreciation for hard work and the ability to connect with people from all walks of life. She earned her law degree with honors from Cumberland School of Law in 1998, where she served on the Law Review and the National Moot Court Team. She also became the first lawyer in her family.
