Ms. Mendez was born and raised in El Paso, Texas, and earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Texas at El Paso. She later became a Certified Public Accountant and worked for KPMG before pursuing a legal career. She obtained her Juris Doctor from St. Mary’s University School of Law in 2004.
Following law school, she spent nine years at a prominent defense firm before transitioning to plaintiff representation in 2014, establishing her own practice dedicated to advocating for individuals. In 2023, she co-founded Flores Mendez Law, expanding her ability to serve clients across the Southwest.
Ms. Mendez remains committed to community involvement and actively participates in local initiatives, reflecting her dedication to making a positive impact both inside and outside the courtroom.
