Emma is a proud double-Cane, graduating with a double major from the University of Miami Business School, and then graduating with her juris doctor at the University of Miami School of Law.
While at the University of Miami School of Law, Mrs. Afriat obtained multiple Dean’s List Awards and was the proud President of the Cardozo Jewish Legal Society Group. She excelled in all of his litigation courses while working over thirty hours a week as a law clerk in a personal injury law firm.
Emma started her legal career at a top Florida personal injury firm, and then pivoted to defending the insurance companies. She became an expert at analyzing the strengths and weaknesses of personal injury and catastrophic injury cases.
With her defense experience, Emma founded Afriat Law and dedicated her life to offer personalized care and compassion to the people who suffered an injury as a result of someone else’s negligence.
