Richard Pravato is a Board Certified Civil Trial Attorney. Board Certification means that an attorney has been recognized by the Florida Bar as possessing special knowledge, skills and proficiency in a particular area of law. This is the highest level of evaluation by the Florida Bar, and it allows the attorney to be identified as a “specialist” or an “expert” in their field.

Of the roughly 93,000 attorneys who are licensed to practice law in Florida, only about 4500 are Board Certified. Additionally, out of those 4500 board certified attorneys, only about 1068 are certified in the area of Civil Trial. That means only about 1% of all Florida Attorneys are Board Certified Civil Trial Attorneys.
