Law Firm: Rochlin Law Firm
Position: Attorney
Phone: 612-332-3311
Biography Overview
Practicing law in Minnesota since 1991, Pam Rochlin is a personal injury lawyer who is deeply committed to helping injured victims and their families. Pam is originally from Thief River Falls, Minnesota and has a small town sensibility and work ethic. She is one of very few MN women attorneys who exclusively represent accident injury victims.
As a lawyer, Pam has worked hard to maximize recovery for hundreds of people through settlement and trial. Pam’s cases primarily involve situations where someone has been injured or killed in a car accident, slip and fall injury, dog bite/attack, or by a defective product. She provides personal and caring attention to help the injury victim and their family to get through a difficult time in their lives.
Pam was a partner at Meshbesher & Spence, Ltd. until 1999, when she left to join her husband, attorney David Rochlin, in creating the Rochlin Law Firm, Ltd. In doing so, Pam was able to take the experience of a larger firm and combine it with her desire to provide true personal attention to all of her clients.
TOP WOMAN LAWYER
Pam has been selected as a “Super Lawyer” by the Minnesota Journal of Law & Politics and Minnesota Business Monthly for the last 20 years, and early in her career was named a “Rising Star” by the same publications. She has also been recognized as one of the top women personal injury lawyers in the state of Minnesota.
Pam is a past president of the Minnesota Women Lawyers Association, and has served on the Minnesota Association for Justice Board of Governors. She also is a former president of the Minnesota Consumer Alliance. More recently, she was appointed president of the Minnesota Women Lawyers Foundation, which is an umbrella organization that raises money for the MN Women Lawyers organization, as well as causes the organization supports. She is also a current member of the American Association for Justice, Minnesota State Bar Association and Hennepin County Bar Association.
In addition, Pam regularly mentors new women lawyers in MN and women still in law school. She also periodically speaks at continuing education classes for other personal injury lawyers. As a woman attorney with experience at both a large and small firm, Pam takes pride in sharing her experience, encouraging, and providing some guidance for newer women lawyers.
Pam has served as a board member of Give Us Wings, a non-profit organization that works directly with adults and children in Kenya and Uganda. Give Us Wings funds community projects (such as water projects), providing financial assistance and training for economic self-sufficiency. They also develop ways of meeting the medical and educational needs of adults and children in Africa (which have included the creation of a clinic and scholarships for students). Although she recently left the board of Give Us Wings, she is still a supporter of that great organization.
